Data Mining and Statistics for Decision Support
Large amount of data are collected everyday and many businesses use data to make better decisions. At Datanovia, we make learning data science easy for everyone all around the world.
Our services include data science courses , as well as, data analysis and visualization from start to finish. We write scripts to collect and process raw data, analyze data with statistics and machine learning and produce reports and scientific papers.
We understand the nuances of genomic data. Our expertise include differential expression analysis, NGS data processing, pathway enrichment analysis and visualization, survival analysis, patients' molecular classification for precision medicine.
Datanovia was created by Alboukadel Kassambara, PhD in Bioinformatics and Cancer Biology. He has 10+ years work experience on genomic data analysis and visualization.
He has work experiences in statistical and computational methods to identify prognostic and predictive biomarker signatures through integrative analysis of large-scale genomic and clinical data sets.
Alboukadel Kassambara created a bioinformatics web-tool named GenomicScape (www.genomicscape.com) which is an easy-to-use web tool for gene expression data analysis and visualization.
Before creating Datanovia, he previously developed the data science training website, named STHDA (Statistical Tools for High-throughput Data Analysis), which contains many tutorials on data analysis and visualization using R software and packages.
Alboukadel Kassambara is the author of many popular R packages for:
- multivariate data analysis (factoextra),
- survival analysis (survminer),
- correlation analysis (ggcorrplot),
- creating publication ready plots in R (ggpubr).
Recently, he published several books on data analysis and visualization
Alboukadel Kassambara has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and has served as a scientific reviewer for international scientific journal. He has has taught courses on R statistical software to several hundred students from different countries.
